About Me

Josh Peverley

Wyld Parties.

My DJ journey began when I found my passion for music at the age of 10, talking to myself through a toy microphone and building up the confidence to purchase some DJ equipment to get myself out there DJing Kids Parties. Carrying a large box of CD’s and a tangled up rope light, I became a popular choice for Mobile Disco’s on the Isle of Wight at just the age of 13. After a couple of years in radio, giving me the skill to deliver confident and clear announcements to keep your guests informed of the evening, I then created Wyld Parties with the aim to become one of Hampshire’s favourite Wedding and Party DJ’s.

Fast forward to now, I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside many couples to bring their evening to a spectacular close. I’ve also had the pleasure of performing in many bars and on music festival stages, introducing bands and even warming up for and introducing the likes of Mr Tumble (that’s one for the CV i know!)

I’m also the founder of popular events company, Wyld Events that specialise in promoting spectacular events at some of the UK’s most popular tourist attractions; the co-owner of Hush Silent Disco Company and a freelance web designer and event manager.

Questions for Josh

I love everything about it – the preparing playlists, setting up, rehearsing what I’m going to say and play, and I love meeting new people. I love event planning, hearing stories from couples and I’m so lucky to operate a successful business across the Isle of Wight and Hampshire. For me, there’s nothing more satisfying than seeing people have a good time.

I’m more than happy to provide all of the pricing information you need to make the right choice for your Wedding or event. I provide a unique service across the Isle of Wight and Hampshire and really like to meet my clients and discuss your event in detail to ensure you have the best possible experience and I deliver the best service to you at the best price.

However, it is fair to say if you are looking for the cheapest DJ for your event it won’t be me.

I very rarely accept Wedding bookings from couples that I haven’t met face to face. This is because I pride myself on the quality service I provide, and first, I need to establish and ensure that I am the right fit for your Wedding. If you read my testimonials from previous clients you’ll notice I really get along with my clients, and getting to know you in person will allow me to deliver a better quality performance for you and your guests on the most important day of your life.

This is another decision that is totally up to you. I like to meet my Wedding clients twice. This includes one informal meeting, perhaps at your home or we can grab a coffee. This allows me to get to know you and your plans for the big day. My second meeting is then at the venue to discuss the layout and the formatting of the day, and allows me to introduce myself to the venue staff so that they know who I am, meaning I can worry about the ‘to do’s’ and you can focus on the ‘I do’s.’
